Get to know Barb
Growing up in Canada where she got her yoga instructor certificate and currently based in Lebanon, Barb has dedicated herself to the practice of yoga hoping to craft her own inimitable path.
Coming from a corporate background, Barb listened to an inner calling that urged her to share with the world a system whose goal is to encourage compassion and mindfulness. Her corporate and yoga experience have given her a unique perspective. She not only has a solid work ethic, but is a great listener who is always available for questions.
Barb’s biggest concern is to constantly improve your experience. She pays deep attention to body language and to the instinctive actions of her clients, and can intuit what these actions say about their history, who they are and what they are looking for, both mentally and emotionally.
But don’t let that intimidate you. Barb is warm, gentle and compassionate. She will prod and ask you questions, but she will always respect your privacy.

Barb's Qualities
You will find that an intimate connection with Barb is easy to establish, and in no time, you will feel comfortable and at home. This is all a result of her immense dedication to yoga and to people. Her 10+ years of experience in Yoga, and over 15 years of corporate, sales, and legal experience, have allowed her to be both practical and spiritual – a master of techniques, as well as having a knack for being a talented people-person.
She knows how to induce peace and tranquility into your mind. Whether you are dealing with past trauma, physical stress, or just having a difficult time (because life can be tough), Barb can help you make both physical and emotional breakthroughs. She will heighten all emotional states in a loving approach.
Barb specializes in 1 on 1 sessions that can run for an hour and a half. She incorporates a yoga therapy method that combines various types of yoga from Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative.
Some people who want to learn yoga are too goal oriented. They may be aiming for that spectacular headstand and may feel frustrated if they don’t accomplish their goals quickly. But what you will learn with Barb, is that results don’t come overnight, that you need to be patient and compassionate with yourself. Yoga is a process and a journey, not a destination.

What can you expect from the first Session
You will feel better inside out, starting with your emotions, and then with your body. Barb is a deep believer in this method, rather than starting from the outside. You will discover new things about your body, and you will come to peacefully accept them.
